The Department offers both a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed) depending on students’ goals. The B.S. degree prepares students for work in a variety of industries or for further study in a graduate or professional school. Our B.S. degree gives students a choice of two concentration options – Applied or Traditional Mathematics. The B.S. Ed. degree prepares students for licensure to teach mathematics in secondary schools (grades 9-12).
