The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is one of seven departments in the College of Mathematics and Science. The faculty represents a broad array of scholastic interests, including algebraic topology, cryptography, history of mathematics, differential equations, numerical analysis, mathematical biology, complex analysis, biostatistics, mathematics education, matrix theory, mathematical physics, dynamical systems and geometry. The members of the faculty are committed to excellence in teaching and pride themselves on their collaborative endeavors with students to learn and conduct research.
